I had the pleasure of enjoying the house made Biscuits & Gravy this afternoon for a take away brunch and I am absolutely beyond satisfied. This was my first time here at Howie's. My co-worker's friend posted a photo of the Corned Beef Poutine and we both were immediately intrigued.. After looking through the menu offerings online, It was evident that Howie's is doing brunch just right! The house made sausage was spot on, perfectly seasoned. I loved the elegant touch of colorful & local micro greens on top of my dish and the biscuits were wonderfully tender. Perfectly crisp at the edges and soft on the inside. What a treat! The house made Corned Beef was seasoned to perfection as well & you could taste the quality of the ingredients throughout the entire meal.
Upon picking up my order, I was greeted warmly by the staff and enlightened about how Howie's is a scratch, farm to table dining establishment. The store was immaculately clean and the staff was super sweet.
I've been a chef in the industry for the past 10 years and I am always on the hunt for quality eateries. Howie's nailed it! Innovative & high quality all around. I'm looking forward to coming back to try their benedict!
